HosComm has developed a secure group texting application for the healthcare community. The HosComm system provides higher quality communication in real time that alleviates the need for pagers and phone calls by physicians and nurses. While hospital systems and large physician practices will be the primary markets for the HosComm technology, a solution also has been developed for smaller physician groups, clinics, and individual users as well.
HosComm’s technology partners are Compuware and Covisint, and a beta version will be in testing during Q1 2013 with a full commercial roll-out slated for Q2 2013 with two major hospital systems already in line to acquire the technology as lead customers. Aria Ventures partnered with the founder in early 2010 and was instrumental in developing the business plan, raising the funding, identifying key company personnel, and securing the valuable partnerships with Compuware and Covisint to develop the product.
